Halifax–produced film 8:37 REBIRTH to begin Maritime Screenings.
[Halifax, N.S.] — Beginning in May, the multi–award winning film 8:37 REBIRTH will be
screened throughout the Maritimes. https://837rebirth.com

8:37 REBIRTH will play in Charlottetown on May 7 & 8 at the City Cinema, in Dartmouth
on May 14 at Alderney Landing Theatre, and in Annapolis Royal on May 20 at the Kings
Theatre. The film will also play in New Glasgow at Glasgow Square on July 9, Truro at
the Marigold Theatre on August 13, and Moncton NB at the Capitol Theatre on August
26 & 27. Dates have not been finalized yet for screenings in Sydney and Sackville NB.

During its festival run 8:37 REBIRTH won nine (9) Best Feature Film Awards. The latest
from The Halifax Emerging Lends Cultural Film Festival on April 20, 2022.
8:37 REBIRTH also won four (4) Best Director awards for Juanita Peters, a best actor
award each for Glen Gould, Pasha Ebrahimi and Amy Trefry and three (3) Best
Cinematography awards for Jeff Weaton.

8:37 REBIRTH is a psychological drama about hope, redemption and letting go. It
follows two men – who as children were forever linked by a tragic shooting – who are
brought back together years later. With a shared event from their youth that changed
the trajectory of their lives, things threaten to spin out of control again when they cross
paths.
